Thanks for your review. I've had a couple of dogs cross the bridge, a sad time in our lives.

I love the picture; what a gorgeous lab. I have lots of fond memories of our dogs, who were labs. They, too, were early risers. What song did you write this after? Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer?

Thanks for your review. She's actually a bitter. We had a DNAtest done and no lab seen but some german shepherd. This is done by the Rudolph tune.

We have a new pup and I am waiting for the time the licks come without nibbles. It will be a much better start to the day.
Took me a while to remember the whole melody line, but it seems you nailed it. Nailed the general feeling of having a young dog in the house too.
A fun poem. Thanks for sharing.

I love the picture of the dog. I love your rhyming. What a lovely poem. What Christmas tune did you use? This dog is yours, correct? The dog looks like it is such a good pal. Good luck to youl

Aww, how can you not love that face? I've always said that you'll never forget you have a pet in the house, they let you know! But they bring out the best in us too. This works great with Rudolph tune! Good luck in the contest!

I always had cats and not dogs, but the principle and effect is just the same. You could just an alarm clock, but then you would never get those wet kisses! Good job.
