This definitely is an abundance of colored leaves on the ground. We have an oak tree that has an abundance of red leaves, w/yellow; which is very colorful. Like your poem.

Rosemary.
Those oak trees are spectacular fall visions. We have a Norway Maple in our front yard which provides us glorious reds. The pines stay green all year round.

So pleased with your review!
It is a festive month. The colors in my neighborhood are just stating to change. Sadly, this is a fleeting moment in October. Raking the FALLen
leaves takes much longer.

This is a beautiful tribute to the feast of colors autumn has to offer. A virtual cornucopia that we can partake of at the end is summer- to ease the transition of seasons. Great presentation!

Thanks June for your review. Regrettably that feast of colors only lasts for a few weeks. Oh yea, then we have cleanup that often lasts longer!

Fallen leaves are a familiar motif, but one never tires of it. Autumn (or Fall) is a season which seems to lend itself to inspiration. I liked the illustration.

Thanks Patricia! The leaves in my neighborhood are just starting to color. We are all inspired by that view.

Love the wording, feast of colours is excellent and very clever with cornucopia of leaves.
Just on a side comment, I'm Canadian and we just celebrated Thanksgiving and I discovered my Husband has never heard of a cornucopia, lol

Rachel,
Hey neighbor, I live in NY (-; years ago, w3 accidentally traveled to Montreal and Quebec on your Thanksgiving holiday - apparently it was not recorded on our calendar. Hopefully your table had a cornucopia of delicious foods that your hubby did enjoy.
