I keep you in my prayers and in my heart even when I've been away. It may sound cheesy, but I truly believe that if the Lord brought you to it, He'll see you through it. Wow! This is listed under Spiritual non-fiction. You have been elusive regarding what has happened in the past or something that you have done that has affected your family. Presumably, the entity you are praying to will know. It is a powerful piece, if not a bit chilling to read. So much has been left out. It almost read like a poem. It had a wonderful lilt to it. very well done.

Dear Carol, you and your family are still very much on my heart and mind. I hope and pray that things are improving. I can't talk about all of my own difficulties and trials either, but we must remember Romans 8:28, that "God works all things together for good for those that love him, who are called according to his purpose." (That might not be exact, as I'm quoting from memory.) Sometimes it's very hard to accept the things that come our way, but we keep believing ...

Yes, when all hope seems to have dissolved in a morass of confusion, and reality has escaped this world, there is only one place to go, that beckoning light that calls our name, and waits to cover us in its brightness.
