Death is never an ease event to accept but death by suicide must be a whole different pain..

I think it would be impossible to come terms with it.

If someone so close and dear to me would unexpectedly take his/her life , I would feel guilty that I didn't see the signs.

I would torment myself, ask : why ?

Am I in part responsible ,

did I fail in some way as a partner?

Why didn't he /she feel he/she could confide in me ?

In only 50 words you wrote a thought provoking piece that made me somewhat unsettled.

Oh my word. What a terrible thing to have happen to anyone. The shock of discovering her husband dead at his own hands would be numbing. You captured the lady's feelings well. Well done with this flash fiction. Good luck in the contest.
