What a perfect picture and perfect poem to illustrate depression. That's exactly how it feels to have too heavy a burden to lift our heads to the blessed sun.

Using the imagery (as well as image) of the sunflower was a very smart choice. The sunflower, of all flowers is dependent on the sun's rays to guide it. To see it facing downward, other than night is a great metaphor for depression. I'm not sure it you wanted to say "me"...Perhaps a typo? Replace with "my?"

I love sunflowers and all flowers. Nature is a beautiful thing. There are so many beautiful flowers in this world. I love the color yellow too. Have a wonderful day.

I love this and the picture is perfect with it. My favourite poems are sometimes the ones that say the most with only a few words. And yours did that. Nicely done.
