I wish I had a six. The photo and wording place me into the hills seeing the beautiful coloring of leaves and how God blends His colors. Thanks for sharing.

"Autumn slings down leaves", is short, succinct and delightfully descriptive. Woven through each short line are the golden threads of truth.
I look forward to seeing your next post.

You have made excellent use of your seventeen syllables in this lovely, expressive haiku about autumn. Smooth inclusion of personification and to paint the scene

I feel emotional reading your words. Your poetic form creates the feeling at the end of Autumn and Winter is beginning. "Detached trees stand still" is a wonderful last line that impacts your words.

Autumn is a beautiful time and the leaves do seem to dance in the breeze and fall leaving the trees standing naked and bare.

very nicely done.

The skeletons of the trees exposed create mixed feelings inside. I love fall, but winter is close at hand. What a wonderfully written poem. I wish I had a six for you!

Have a great day, and God bless.

The syllable count is good and the image is nice. I especially like the "last dance" simile. The satori in the last line indicts the courage and toughness of the trees.

Well done and good luck in the contest.

Isn't autumn a lovely inspirational season? There is something about the "beautiful death" of the leaves on the trees and how we understand that it's a time of change. It's my favorite time if year. Thanks for sharing. :)

Ohhh... I love the thought of 'detached trees'. Love the double meaning as the leaves fall to the ground. Detatched trees... Lovely.
The senyu is perfect. There are no corrections and no way to improve. Well done!
Blessings and thank you for sharing,
Deb
