Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

This is a remarkable work, almost a discourse, on Life. There is an old saying, "Ni thagann ab chuid is mo de do leanta riamh," in the Irish, "Most of your woes never arrive." I'm sure there are similar sayings in every culture.
I feel your verse was the reflection of an event in your life, and you obviously weathered the storm, one of many?
As you wrote, most of us worry needlessly and that not only puts lines on our faces, I believe worry also steals years from us.
You have a great talent for expressing your emotions, and in your last verse I took the liberty (Forgive me) of reading between the lines and found the story of the healing heart made strong through adversity, but also the message, "Trust in Tomorrow."
Great work,
irish

    Hi dear Irish,
Thank you for your thoughtful and perceptive comments andcompliments on this. As t this being a reflection on a certain
event in my life not sure credit belongs to me on weathering
storms. I have done my share of over-worrying for sure, this
was a chat or reminder my dad often brought up and hoped
I would retain it for benefit and common sense logic. And I
have retained it, many times as seemed most appropriate.
Your intuitive readings in between the lines most intriguing
and insightfully shared, sincerely appreciated. I do tend to
be an optimist more often and trust in tomorrow and remain strong in adversity always the goal to be achieved.
Thanks too, ever so much for the extra star award!!
    Gratefully, Ronni

Neat. I often hear my father's voice when I am facing a severe loss or a tough choice. His calm wisdom, given years ago, has been a guiding light and an inspiration.
Thank you for sharing your view.

So true Miss Ronni!
Most of our worries stay right in our
heads, thank goodness.
Think of thoughts like 'airplanes' and
decide which ones you want to land.
Tell the rest of the thoughts/worries
to keep right on flying, ha ha.
Love the positive message in this!
Blessings...

    Hui dear Irish Rain,
So right you are dear, a good reminder for us all. I've done
my share of over worrying too! My dad used to remind me
that if I wasn't so busy worrying, I'd be missing out on the
better things to do or think about. Simple logic LOL.
    Love, blessings, Ronni

Ronni,
This sometimes rhyming free verse poem reminds us not to go looking for worries or troubles. They will come by naturally. Needless worry complicates life and causes stress.
I think you don't need the right or wrong and the good or bad phrases.
It does show hope at the end.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Joan

As one who tends to "borrow trouble," I see the wisdom in your well-written, descriptive poem and its powerful, realistic message. This is something I pray about often, my tendency to sabotage my peace of mind.

This is a very interesting poem on a great topic. I think you are right, we all worry way to much. It has become a national if not a world-wide pass time. I wonder if we worry as a preventative? You know, because most of the things we worry about never happen.

    Hi Mary,
You are so right, and I've done my share of over worrying too!
Nowadays, it does seem like an increasingly worrisome world,
and hard not to get caught up in it.
Thanks for sharing with your kind thoughts and appreciation.

Very profound and well-written poem with a very important message.
I am one of those who is death, doom, and destruction thinker, Chicken Little has nothing on me. Your words are a good reminder that in worrying before events happen, particularly those that are more in the imagination than a possibility is a waste and blocks the joy you may be experiencing,
Thank you for the lesson,
Regards,
Mary

Nice remonder to each of us, presented in your always distinct style. How often we fret and wring pur hands at things that never come to pass! Love your final stanza. We learn to appreciate life's blessings, after having faced a difficult time with poise and determination!

This is very good but there are some troubling words that are left out like in the second to the last stanza, the word 'wait' is left out. Then the last stanza seems to unravel until it doesn't quite make sense. I am not sure of the very ending two words.
Otherwise, I love the way you layout the feeling that you are trying to encourage!
Waiting to worry is the best advice of all!
Thanks for the lovely sentiment and for pushing the envelope with the style of the piece!
Have a fantastic day,
Jesse

    Hi dear Jesse,
I understand your point and keen observation re the left out
word, 'wait'. But since this a copy of this poem, from my
"Letters & Diary" Journal, the rules for standard poetry for
public view are not applicable or necessary as I have always
    understood it to be.
I appreciate your objectivity and conscientiousness carried
through the rest of the poem, and your kind rating. Your
inquiry's are always considerate and noted with sincere
appreciation rest assured. And always too a true gentleman
and especially appreciated fan. You too, have a beautiful day
    Best wishes always, Ronni

It is true that we need to pick our arguments well and some things are not worth the effort to argue about, we choose peace instead, I enjoyed the philosophy here Ronni, a fine write, love Dolly x
