I see a beautiful scene of snow and a fox cradling a bough of a red maple tree.

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and I'll forgive you for reminding me what's maybe in store for the future--I WAS feeling good, but now, not so much-lol! Let's hope I'm wrong

The snow at the foot of the red maple paints a nice word picture. I didn't know foxes could climb trees, but I looked it up. I appreciate the notes on writing haiku; I'm glad to learn as I review. Blessings. Carol

Hi Gypsy,
You are a master of the haiku! I must say, a master. Beautiful mood invoking scene your words paint enhancing this beautiful picture. I had to find the little white fox gently resting there, his fluffy tail curled around for warmth :))
Love the words "sierra snow"... and the presentation as a whole is breathtaking!
Always,
Senyai

Simply beautiful, Gypsy!
Sierra snow reminds me of Michigan snow... and that fox? He visits us all the time during the winter months!
Love the phrase: "fox cradles on the bough." Perfect imagery.
Thank you for sharing!
