Thanks, it was if she was talking. She was my oldest step-daughter's dog. I wrote the poem as if she was talking. It finished in a tie for third place.

I do believe in heaven also for our pets and one day we will reunite with them

Had many pets and each left a void when they pass.

In time that void is fill with the many memories made with them.
