Is there no end to Mason's dastardly deeds, even from the grave? I hope they've discovered this in time, not to have Faith given another dose of thallium.

I just found have this one small suggestion:

"What's going on, Garth.
-->
"What's going on, Garth?

***

Also, I'm glad Garth's icy chill toward Allie is melting, but they haven't dealt with the original reason for his getting angry: she didn't tell him about her plans to visit Jaz, before he found out from someone else (Kate). Do they need to have a chat about that, however brief?

Yes, he sure was -- past tense. I doubt he's responsible for the chaos, during the finale of your novel.
You sure did create a believable bad guy, though!
God bless you, my friend. I look forward to reading more.
Love and prayers, Mary Kay xoxo

Of course there had to be one more log in the fire that sent Garth and Allie tearing down the road to the cabin again! When this is over, I think you will have tied everything up, Carol. Well done.

Never saw all this coming! What a twist! Mason is about as evil as it could be. What is happening with the people who were being kept in captivity?
What about Cynthia and Michael? What will happen to them? I think Faith will get well again - great news. Happy ending for her and Liz! Wow!

So, I can read what's on your mind Carol, very clever way of getting Faith "off the hook" health wise. Mason had his finger in many pies as it were, a very cunning man, but like man egomaniacs his arrogance destroyed him in the end, well done Carol, well done, blessings Roy

My mother had the chemo shots the third time around with her cancer and they really made life easier for her until the end. I believe they extended her life and that's where I got the idea.

Thanks so much for sticking with me. The end is posted!!!

Carol,

WOW! I was hoping there would be some way that Faith could live past her cancer diagnosis, but this is even better. And, of course, it's got Mason's name on it. Perfect. I can't believe you're almost done! Way to go!!

I like the tension you built between Garth and Allie. I guess Allie needs to spill the beans about why she was planning to leave to see her sister without informing Garth.
I suspected the vials as soon as you said it had the doctor's name.
So perhaps Faith doesn't even have cancer? Was the doctor on the take from Mason? Maybe the twins will have a long life together after all.
I see you have Garth and Allie paired up. I can't remember if John died but it seems Mary will be happy to have her two girls. I wonder what will happen to Cassidy.

Chemo comes in many ways now. There are oral drugs that are taken daily, or shots every month. It depends on the type of chemo and the type of cancer.

Mind-blowing! A panoramic plethora of diabolical deeds. I just googled thallium poisoning to refresh my memory. I have Faith in Faith's survival. Prussian blue: ASAP. Brilliant piece.

My mother had the chemo shots (very expensive) but they extended her life and lessened the pain. Thanks for the review.

Holy cow! I'm breathless. Once again you've swooped in and left me gaping with a stunning twist to this whole story! Imagine! Mason intentionally replacing valid chemo shots with Thallium! All fingers would have been pointing to Dr. Copeland, IF her illness and impending death had been questioned at all. As for all of the arms. What? Just how deep does all of this go!? The underlying truth has been...(I know!)-"Secrets in the Wind" all of this time! NOW I have to begin to wean myself for you've warned me, one more chapter to go... (Hopefully Garth's deep freeze will begin to thaw for Allie's sake by then!)--

I'm on the edge of my seat. Loving it all. So when do you start your next book?

(No pressure---smile)

SO WORTHY OF A SIX--but it's FRIDAY--and I do not budget well!

Great chapter! I hope Faith's life is spared and that she and Liz will have time together. I'm wondering about Cynthia: what is she doing and will she be caught? Looking forward to your final chapter. It's been a great read! Blessings. Carol

Cynthia is in a coma in the hospital because she was in the church fire and hit on the head. The next chapter might enlighten you a bit.

Oops, I forgot she was at the church. I guess my brain can't handle all these details like it used to! Thank you!

If there isn't something bad going on, leave it to you to dream up something new. I'm guessing you're one of those people who has an answer for everything. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
