All lives matter no matter what color you are and races have become mixed over the years from the beginning of time so really it is nothing new. More people make something of it than others, it all depends where you live.gwe all are our brothers and we all bleed the same black, white red or etc.too much drama some. Others live to stir up trouble.

You are walking into a snake pit on this one, lol. the idea of being color blind to "race" and the phrase "all lives matter" is offensive to many blacks in light of their historic repression and traumatic past in America. The point for them is not that all lives matter but that, given the history of the trauma inflicted on blacks and even the current prejudice, the repressors (whites mainly) need to realize that this often repressed minority needs a voice and that black lives matter as much as the majority (the whites). Just offering another viewpoint, my dear friend

Hello Sir,
I partially agree with you. The basis for my poem has to do with the )image( I used, as well as the plight of the original LGBT community and the issue of race. Here, the cliche (with the traditional hetero ring) is inverted, where it's possible that a white family might not mind if their son marries a man, but would take offence if he were black man. The issue is one of acceptance.

Why America? In my opinion, the whole world needs to become colour blind. In my country too various forms of discrimination take place. But things are getting better and the next generation may have better sense. A very thought-provoking short poem indeed. Good luck!
