I like this one - a great use of the contrasts between "fortunately" and "unfortunately". As it was based on your real life experience, you used humour well, and it had enough detail to be very realistic and we readers were able to envisage every step of the experience. This certainly is one helluva roller-coaster of mixed fortunes for poor Willie. What a day! I hope he's been to the dentist to get that cavity fixed. I'm pleased he had success at the fishing spot. (As you did. It's great to be able to use a real life event in a story.)

What a fun little tale! I LOVED that part about putting the worms in his pocket. That's exactly what a little boy would do - and I'm sure there were a few left when mom got those pants ready for laundry the next day. hahahaha
