I absolutely loved this stanza Roy... loved it!
I'd rather dwell in restful peace,
than travel roads here vultures feast.
Our souls were meant for wisdom's call,
to enter courts where angels sprawl
and not to wander orphan's grove,
where giants nest and rag-dreams rove.
I have just checked and I have a six left, it is now yours my friend, an inspirational write !

Don't have any 6 stars but you deserve them for this poignant poem.
It is very well constructed and has a great rhythm. Also great meaning. Poor Mother Earth is heating up now getting ready to burn at His coming. She is a woman scorned and she is ready to unleash her destructive power! We have prevented her from doing her job of raising righteous children unto Our Father. Killing her babies before they have a chance to live . . .

Man seems to have his wandering side, and it seems that Roy also gets swept into adventure's squawl. But there is an internal compass that draws you back to the Wisdom that is the lodestone in your soul. As with all your poems, Roy your lodestone always brings you back to Wisdom's Way.
