I don't actually get this. How would the pack of wolves alleviate his fear. I would have thought it would have increased it. Am I missing something? Good luck in the competition. Jen

I opened this up wondering how you could show horror in 50 words. You started spot on, and the first 38 words succeeded admirably. Then the wolves arrived and I became confused. Did the horror rise to a new level? or did the wolves provide ease? I didn't quite know what to make of the end.

Wow. It is a scary situation. I like this story, short but clear. I have one question. Why does the appearance of of a wolf pack alleviate his fear?
