These always look easier than they are to do, and you are to be congratulated on this one that works exactly as I am sure the challenger wanted it to. There is no sense of anything being forced at all.

Isn't it ever so true, that even a small patch of forest can make all the difference in the world.
You lyrical narratives are always so beautifully composed, and flow like a river.

I love everything about your beautiful swap quatrain poem, Yvonne. The picture is perfect as is the color scheme. Your lines read smoothly, the rhymes are super, and the swap line fits in perfectly in each verse. Your imagery fills the reader with a sense of awe of the beautiful things awaiting during the walk during the Fall. You are right--so many beautiful things to see--animals and plants. However, so many are too busy to stop and relish the beauty of this season. I love all the descriptions of the animals and the falling leaves,
