Hi Linda,

This is such a wonderful heartfelt tribute to August, an humble quiet man whose poems have an unvarnished honesty and rare wisdom about them. I shuffled through his portfolio and found many gems of wisdom that can only be found through pain. I wished I had been able to know August but his poems and words live one.

Praying for his family and dear daughter, Amber who posted his last poem for him

    he truly was a talented writer...and yes he was
    a kind and humble soul my sweet friend...

    he is now Resting In Peace...walking with God...
    he will be missed...

Thanks for sharing this information about one of our own. Unfortunately, I didn't know this kind and humble soul...my sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to August's family during this difficult time. My prayers are with his family. May God bless and keep this family in His loving care.

This is a beautiful tribute to August, Linda. Reading your tribute gave me more insight to what an amazing man he was. Why are all the best ones going so early? So young, too.     Hi Sandra, he really was an amazing person...he started a
    business called...Carpenters for Christ...and traveled all over
    helping people for free...and he financed it himself...

    I feel like you my amazing friend...why are all the best ones passing to soon...there aren't many left who want love to be the first thing in a relationship...today it's all about money...so sad...

    I used to talk to August every time we reviewed...he was such a kind man...I'm going to miss him...

Oh, no! Bless his heart. I am so sorry to hear this. You know, I didn't know him well, but we would pass from time to time and I always enjoyed his posts. He was so young!

Some notes, if I may:
1.) I would be the first to b(u)y it

2.) others a very (humble) soul

3.) August was a survivor of 9(/)11

4.) he was hurt when they hit the (P)Pentagon

Thank you so much for telling us. I will try to write something soon. This is awful. Bless his family. Sending you hugs--

    reviewed each other...he really was such a sweet humble person...I'm going to miss him...and many will...sigh....

It is always hurtful and disappointing when one of our number passes away. It especially so when a prolific voice is silenced. One who has been a willing and giving heart is especially missed. I pray that the God of comfort will bless those who mourn the loss of this wonderful writer with comfort.
