You will have the reader eating out of your hand with this image: "The fine hairs ...the Adler case." Nice setting: "an ancient-looking homestead." etc. Creepy. What a great play on words: "He had a slicing tongue he wasn't scared to use." His goal all along: " Dutton sensed the real side of him began to appear." Another good ending.

Thanks for sharing another great chapter of outstanding writing. All out of sixes, as usual, I was going to hold this post until Sunday, so that I could reward it properly. But since you already have a chartreuse plus sign, I figured it didn't matter that much. LOL. Have a wonderful weekend!

As always appreciate the review. Lots going on away from FanStory these days. Will try to keep posting each part though.

Your ability to have your character, Dutton, ask all the right questions to see what he needs to see is excellent. It somehow almost seems calming even though we know something very sinister will be revealed. Excellent writing, Brett.

This story continues to intrigue me. I want to know what started Adler on this killing spree. I sure Dutton will be able to solve this crime at some point and I would he would be in danger himself until it is solved.

This was a good read and thank you for sharing! Your descriptions of what is not quite an interrogation but certainly a questioning session that was not pleasant was well written.

Much appreciate the review.

Hi Brett, I really liked this. It is well written and well paced. So Dutton found child bones, but does that really tells us who did it? I will have to read on. I really like this story. Well done. Ulla:)))

So Dutton found child bones. Is he sure Adler killed this person or did he learn how to kill from Cotton? Hmm, maybe I'm reading more into it than I should. How about I just let you tell the story? Maybe that would be best. LOL I really like it.
