Out of sixes, but what a delightful rendering!
I had to smile as I just became a grandmother this year: both of our children became first time parents! So exciting! And how I love to spend as much time as possible with both of them!

This is a darling ABC poem for children. The mood is light-hearted and encourages learning. I could easily picture children playing with the letters and trying to make words out of them. Best wishes in the contest!

You've handled this contest prompt very skilfully and presented the reader with an 'attractive' image of you playing with grandma's heritage magnets. Your use of coloured letters enhanced it.

Wonderful Abecedarian for children! You have a nice mix of rhyming couplets and prose. The poem has great material appropriate for children.

An outstanding job on the ABC poem. It appears that you have used a combination of rhyming and free verse in the poem. Effectively done and the poem reads very smoothly.

I had letter magnets as well and a magnetic board. I really think it helped me learn to spell. This is a really nice contest entry, best of luck to you.:)

What a clever collection of words to adorn this poem. I've never actually written an abecdarian poem before, so everyone I read is a revelation to me, beautifully written with colours that will make it even more significant to a child, beautifully written my friend, good luck, blessings Roy
