Dear Mystery Poet,
What a fun poem! I think you are right - we have magnetic letters on our refrigerator as I type. I think that as kids learn their alphabet they become entranced with spelling new words and it's a great way for them to play with letters and get more practice. And that is one game that doesn't clutter up the house!! hahaha
Thanks!

This is a very accomplished piece! I say so because of the creativity you've shown in word choices, the smooth flow in the poem, and the appealing message, encouraging children to learn words.

Thank you for your encouraging words! The ABC format was a fun challenge. So glad you liked it. I think in another life I would be an elementary school teacher. :)

This abecedarian poem, Now I Know, has the proper alphabetical formatting and craetes a neat children's scene where the curiousity and thirst for knowledge come together with achievement and joy.

An excellent entry for this contest. I remember the wooden blocks with the red, blue, yellow, and green letters. My kids learned their ABC with the magnet letters on the refrigerator. Good luck with the contest!

An excellent piece of poetry with a different angle on the topic, and a nice touch as it is speaking of Grandma's collection. Children would love this one, carefully and well written as it is. Well done, and best wishes for your entry.

This is an abecedarian poem on steroids. What a great job of using every single letter of the alphabet and making it look effortless. I think you'll do well in the contest.
