Hi Shauna,
This is a well told story in abdecedarian format. It tells of a budding love of letters and words. I think I remember a set of magnetic letters that had both upper and lower case letters somewhere when I was young.
Have a great day.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Hello Mama Baer.
You did a great job with this ABeCedarian Poem. To me, it reads like a free verse style but you use enjambment to really build good flow through the lines. The graphics are very clever, and time consuming to build.
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Robert. You teach me so much! "Now I Know" the word enjambment. So THAT'S what I did. :) I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement.

You did a great job on this ABC poem. What a great way for a child to learn their ABC's, and you have put the experience into a rhyme that is fun to read. Great memories of Grandma's house.

Loved your ABC children's poem. It brought back memories of when my three girls were young and we had a similar set of letter magnets which they would stick on the fridge. Wonderful imagery, colourful and very enjoyable to read. Thanks for sharing Franky

"Now I Know", is an exceptionally well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me this is a true six! Good luck with the contest. My fingers are crossed for you!

Great job with your abecedarian poem which actually tells a story about a child discovering and playing with the alphabet to make words. I always had those on my fridge when my kids were young.
Best wishes in the contest!

Dear Pookietoo, thank you so much for your review! (I am grateful for the artwork we have at our disposal.) I love your poem! It's hard we have to "compete." You are award winning in my book!

Very nicely written poem about a child making sense out of letters on a magnetized board. How fun. I can see a child being enamored with both. I was attracted to magnets and still, at 70, still am. I want bigger and bigger ones. In this quest, I found that the bigger, bigger ones are dangerous. eeeek. I got my finger caught by one as I was putting on metal. Then I bought a Neodymium N52 magnet. It scares me. It's the strongest magnet on earth.

Oh, thank you for your delightful review! I am a pushover for magnets, too. And the stronger the better (although, it sounds like there is a fine line, hehe). Sending magnet safety your way!

This was an excellent abecedarian! Very cute that you decided to use the artwork and that you color coded it. Magnets were indeed a very attractive child's toy and you paint that story well here.
