I drink iced tea - my preferred drink for the summer months. I like the lattice work in the photo - reminds me of a spider's web. Gazebos are a nice meeting place - kind of nostalgic and romantic. Very original piece for the contest.

Yep, on a hot day, a cold beer is a pleasant break in the action. Truthfully, the poem came first, then I looked for a gazebo image on FanArt. When I chose the picture, my original text was modified to use ?lattice.? Pleased you liked my overall presentation. 5-7-5 is my go-to writing style. Longer verses are just not in my poetry wheelhouse.
