I love this! The form of the poem so perfect for the topic. The imagery is so strong and really hits home the feelings. They work so well together and the concept of the poem is really great too!

Have you ever wonder why there is sand on beaches? Beaches form as waves deposit sand and other sediment on the shore and wind pushes these sediments inland. This creates an area of sand particles. This is why we are able to press our foot into the sand and feel the sand seep between our toes.

I did not know that Rosemary. I guess it makes sense. I remember hearing weathermen tell of storm surges and how they changed beaches... I guess it is as you say and the storm washes more sand inland. Thank you.
