Thank goodness they were able to get the people out of the basement in time. I am hoping for Miguel to be caught in good time, with Annie. And then all to come to a satisfying conclusion with all the plots exposed and all crimes caught.
Don't feel pressure to reply - it's fine. I know you have a lot in at present. Still praying for Matthew.

Mason was using the church as a place to keep certain persons prisoner. What is his game? Why were these people captive? Father Jon's been shot and Cynthia is in dire straights. These two, if they make it are prime witnesses to his evil plots.

You might have missed it but Miguel brings migrants in from Mexico when he picks up the barrels in El Paso. They think they are coming for work...instead they pack the drugs in the false bottoms of the barrels and then Mason passes them on to auctions.

    Ugh! Carol

This is an incredibly exciting episode dear Carol, at least Jon tried to do something, wracked with guilt he tried to stop the evil Miguel, with Annie stuck under his arm, and Mary now knows where Annie is, the FBI has given chase and the prisoners rescued, unharmed but for smoke inhalation. Beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Now you and I know I couldn't let those people die in that basement...no way! And we know that Annie is alive even though Mason wanted her killed... what's up with that? LOL

But you backed it up brilliantly by describing why it didn?t burn as vociferously as it could, that?s good descriptive writing, well done Carol

I very relieved that no one is burning up. Than is a horrrible way to go. I didn't realize there were other people in the basement other than Anna and Cynthia. I thought Mason wanted Anne to die. Why did Miguel carry her out? Maybe he thought he could get ransom money?

Every Tuesday Miguel brings smuggled immigrants to fill the barrels with the drugs before he takes them to the ranch....then they are taken and sold...human trafficking on Mason as well.

Well, I'm not wishing any good luck on Jon, no matter how much they say people can change their wicked ways. Anyone who would try to kill his own sister is a worthless scumbag. LOL. You've got me wrapped up in another chapter. Thanks for sharing. :-)

I had to bring my lap top to bed with me when I saw you'd posted another chapter. Oh, my word, that was so exciting. I hope they survive, and Cynthia has to tell the truth about everthing. And Jon, he has tried to make amends for his past mistakes. He'll be happy to know his sister isn't dead, at least. But he did poison her chocolates, so that was attempted murder. What a wasted life for so many in this story. But at least some will have a chance to enjoy the rest of their lives. Mary, and Liz once she gets over the shock. Wonderful chapter, my friend, it's just rolling out beautifully! Now I'm going to sleep!!! Love and hugs, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I tried to get it done earlier because I wanted you to read it, but I got held up with the girls. I am thrilled you had time and I think I am pleased with how it came together. I hope it doesn't sound to corny...rescuing them at the last minute. Good night and have beautiful dreams...We still have to find Annie! Smiles and hugs and lots of love, Always, Carol
