They are on the right track. It figures that its drugs going out in the false bottoms of the wine barrels. I like how he played it down that the dog wasn't very good at sniffing out drugs. I'm a little behind and trying to hit the chapters in the right order. I'm stuck in the hospital for an asthma attack and just starting to review so much that I've missed.

I don't think the drug secret is in the wind, anymore! Great action in this chapter. I'm still concerned about Annie.

I love the dog, Bravo. These K-9 helpers do such a great job. You've got some wonderful woofers in this story.

I loved the dog too...but then I think I like animals more than people. At least my babies love me and are loyal all the time. LOL

Yes, they're so sweet and such special friends. I don't know if I already asked you -- how many do you have?
    God bless you, my friend.

Mary is not holding back her feelings and so she shouldn't. The agents prepare to drive him off the property. They let loose their feelings as well as they drive off.
The proof of the drugs that are being shipped in the false bottoms of the wine barrels, is solid. Now the rest is clear. Follow Miguel and find the
person responsible.

One conflict ends or is put on hold, and a new one begins. You sure know how to keep our minds flopping from one problem to another. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter. It's always fun! :-)

Carol,

So they are even letting Miguel know they are onto the drugs, maybe? Or WILL be? Hmmm... You are killing me. Killing me! I never know what you are going to do! Except that you will always up the stakes. hahaha

I love it!

When gold and drugs surface, you have more than one reason to suspect each and every character in he story. Jack is suspect No 1. Wonder what the ladies are going to do? Whose side will they take? Jon is getting a mouthful. Bad guys know how to deal with outbursts. I'm enjoying it. Keep going!:):)

Sounds like the team are going to unravel this drug dealing gangster. Good show of Darryl's loyalty and desire for justice.
Question about:
"I'll pray for you, for our daughter and our granddaughter. "
Jon knows that the daughters and granddaughter are his? Did I miss something?

You continue to keep me enthralled! Stunning development.

"What's wrong with him? The dog is going crazy." Beads of sweat mingled in the hair on the back of [his=>MIGUEL'S (for clarity)] neck. He ran his fingers along the inside of his collar.

I knew those lot numbers Jack had circled early on would simmer to the surface! Of course! The drugs! (Brief thought that maybe Jack had MORE than suspected Ted this...and that got him murdered?). You always have me guessing Carol! So glad Mary gave hell's fury to Jon. Maybe Faith will convince her to forgive him, but I admit for now I like seeing him suffer... The temperature is rising! This plot is about to explode! Bonus: Annie has got to be found soon! (smile)--

How is SINthia going to react to all of this? Hope she's not counting on Mason!

So many more plot lines to diverge! Better pop some popcorn before reading the next chapter!

Sixer for SURE!

Hey, sweet girl...I have not heard from you in quite a while and I was trying not to disturb you, but now I am starting to worry. I held on to this one so I would remember the last time you were on here...Five days. I am praying nothing worse has gone wrong and you are simply taking a break from my ramblings. Take care and when you, please let me know that you are okay.

All my love and hugs, Carol

Another great chapter! It sounds like there's not much chance of any reconciliation between Mary and Jon. Two small fixes: The black Labrador ... loped (spelling); You were right. The truck(')s headed....
Good scene with the dog barking at the drugs. Blessings. Carol

I apologize for not being able to get back to you quickly but there is way too much happening in my life... with the girls back and school, Matthew's movie, birthdays everywhere and of course trying to finish this story. I know you've read several chapters since this one and I hope a few things are clearer.

    thank you as always, Carol
