Ha ha ha, this is a fun write for children Sandra and I think your clever rhyming Cube16 is a good form to use here, and you had me wondering what happens when these sea creatures have tooth ache! Love Dolly x

Hi Dolly, thank you so much for this lovely review. I wondered, too, when I started this story. I imagine they do sometimes get a toothache, and suffer pain at times. I've always wondered how fishermen know fish don't feel pain when they get pierced with the metal hook they dangle and cut into their mouths. They might not have nerve ends like us, but who's to know there aren't other ways they feel things. Hmm.
Anyway, thanks again, my friend. Last part coming on Sunday. It will be a bit longer, I'm afraid. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra, I'm so sorry you broke a tooth...you

my dentist and I used to tell jokes while he was working on my teeth...I used to crack his wife up...LOL...he retired some 30 years ago...and we still trade Christmas cards...and write each other...send picture of our kids...

now...what do you mean continue???...I was all set to watch them pull his tooth...then you could've continued...
and I don't know about that shark...he certainly doesn't look that friendly...and your going to pull a tooth...and draw blood????...

really a great story told my amazing friend...to bad you can't use the pictures...a great chapter...work on that continuing part...go one more step forward...hmmmmm...
love your story told sweet girl...and love all your cute picture...amazing talent you are...love you as deep as the sea...Linda xxoo

If I'd only known, I would have got in touch with you immediately!! A song from you would have made my tooth all better! Lol. It sounds like you had an amazing dentist, shame he retired, I could have used him!!

I promise you will find out if the whale's tooth can be pulled ... or not ... on Sunday!! A long one coming up, so have a cup of coffee ready, tuck your legs up on the sofa, and relax. The tension will be alarming! Will the whale swallow them? Will he chew them up and spit them out for hurting his poor little mouth? So much more to come in the final part!!!!! Horror at it's most horrific!! Blood and gore! This ocean will put the Red Sea to shame! LOL!!!

I can use most of these pictures, but a couple of them I'll have to buy if I can't find some good enough to replace them with.

Thank you so very much, my wonderful friend, for another fabulous, funny review and for the golden sixth star!! You are a joy to have as a friend. How are things now? Are you travelling yet, or still at home? Let me know where you are. Love you to bits, my friend! Sending humongous hugs to keep you warm. :)) Sandra xxxxx

LMBO....I did have a great dentist...he's so funny...

I'll have to make that a cup of tea...and if I tuck my legs up on the couch...they'll have to bury me there...relax or not...they'll never come untucked...I'll go with putting them up on the coffee table...

sounds like a horror story...I'm getting all excited...Blood and gore...maybe I'll change my drink to tomato juice...I like to come into the story told...think I'll need a harpoon??... or just some Oralgel, and a pear of pliers...hmmmmm...

just find some other pictures...shouldn't have to pay for them...everyone wants money today...

    your so welcome amazing you...alllllllways...

NO!!! I'm still here...working on the house...the guy came today to change the ducts the water went down...wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...but when you have someone doing the work that knows what he is doing...it really helps...got a few more things to do...they have to finish replacing the floors in the laundry room...tiles and wood...put the furnace back in...along with the sink, and the washing machine...and hopefully...that will do it...was a bigger job than I thought it would be...bunches of love coming your way...and tons of hugs...smiling big back at you...loveeeeeee xxoo

My goodness! That's a lot of work, but if you've had a few hunky men around to help you, then I can understand you blocking the loo and pouring water all over the laundry floor!!! Hmm, sounds very interesting! Keep it up and they might just move in!! LOL.

Please ignore the part about tucking your legs up on the sofa, I had meant to put a **Warning** on that part before you tried it!!!! 😂🤣
Love you more, my dear friend! Humongous hugs, I'm off to bed now. Night night! :)) Sandra xxx

LOL...LOL...if they move in I would have to get a Spanish dictionary...but they have been really nice guys...a couple were a problem with the work they did...but the company sent someone right over to correct it...

    OK you...sweat dreams...Night night...love you more, my amazing friend...huggggggssss...smiling sooooo big...xxoo

I don't know what my reaction would have been. Part of me would have been in awe of being so close to things like that and the other part of me would be dying of being so scared. These kids are way braver than I could ever be. Sorry, about your tooth. Maybe you should give this to your dentist when you're done as a hint.

I would have passed out! Lol. Children are braver than us adults. Lol, I love your idea of giving this book to my dentist when it's finished! I wonder if he would get the hint! Thank you so much for this great review, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

That is so nice of you, thank you so much, Don and Vicki. I'm posting the last part on Sunday, it's a bit longer as there is quite a bit happening. The finished book will also have pages in it with pictures to colour in. Also, thank you for the generous award of the golden sixth star! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Great continuation of the saga. This should do very well with the youngsters. Short lines that rhyme are key to hold kids' attention. It even held mine.

I love this story. It makes me feel like a big old kid. LOL That was so funny what you said about your real life experience with your dentist and wishing Poppy and Odi had fixed your tooth. LOL I'm still laughing.

Hello Sandra.

You use enjambment in a couple of the lines. That is outstanding. It helps to make the words flow. You have done an excellent job using CUBE16 for children's poetry and I am a fan of yours. I like the pictures you chose for the story.

Robert

I wasn't sure if that was allowed in the cube 16, so I'm really pleased you picked up on it. I just love this format, and will use it for all my children's books now. I'm getting some requests from friends to write a book for their child because it's so easy for them to read.
In my haste to put this one out, (I had a terrible week with my tooth) I didn't mention you in my author's notes. Which I will rectify. I've had readers ask about it. It's lovely that you are a fan, it really does give me the confidence to continue writing them. Thank you so much for the golden sixth star, my friend, you have made my day with your remarks. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

    Sandra.

    You're welcome.

I like enjambment and I use it often. I think it shows an extra skill. As long as it is used properly, it adds depth and flow to the poem. I like it!

Sandra: Your story poetry and pictures are amazing! You added in
good humor and a realistic situation with tooth pain. The teachers
will have fun sharing this story in their classes. I'm sure your own
grandchildren are sitting on your lap helping you brainstorm and
read the words.

Taking a break from writing novels. Hope you are having a wonderful
family Labor Day! Stars ********************* flylikeaneagle - nancy

What a lovely review, Nancy, thank you so very much. I do enjoy writing for children, and yes, my grandchildren are a big help when it comes to being critics!! LOL.
Thank you, also, for that gift of a sixth star, what a pleasure it was to wake up to and read your comments. Thank you! Happy Labour Day to you, too, my friend. :)) Sandranxxxx

I am continuing to enjoy this sea tale. I like all the characters you have introduced. There is a feel of fun and a sense of whimsy in your poem. I also like how it is a killer whale that needs a tooth pulled.

Oh darn! LOL I was hoping the poor whale would get relief by now. I think I'm having sympathetic toothache pains!
I was looking forward to this next episode.
Your rhyme and meter are excellent and the story flows smoothly.
It seems appropriate for kids.
I dont know what a cube 16 poem is but I will look it up.
What a fun read!

Thank you so much, Katie Mae, for this really fabulous review. Tune in on Sunday for the final part. It's going to be long, I'm afraid!
The cube 16 was invented by our own Fanstorian, Robert Zimmerman. The format is, 4 syllables across, by four lines down, making it a cube shape with a total of 16 syllables. It's a wonderful format for my children's books and so easy for them to read it.
I'm really glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks for reading it and the lovely comments you made. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
