Sorry you've had a tough week. So have I. But this was worth waiting for. The whale will soon be good as new, and the kids will have a lifelong friend. Now they've learned how to do it, they can visit once in a while.

I'm sorry you have a tough week, too, Cindy. I suppose we can't all go sailing through life without the odd turbulent wave hitting us.
Thank you so much for those lovely comments, that really put a smile on my face. I'm writing the last part now. It's a little longer than the others, but not long enough for two parts. It will be posted hopefully on Sunday. Thanks again, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xx

Hi Sandra, this is delightful - I loved it. You have a wonderful talent for writing poetry and for other writing as I remember. How are you going, I see you sometimes on Facebook I think, but I am really there. Giddy

Hi Giddy, how lovely to see you back on here! Yes, I go on Facebook sometimes, but not often. Thank you so much for this fabulous review, and that golden sixth star! And a 'blushing' thank you for the compliment! lol. I'm fine, staying safe from the covid so far and I've had both my vaccinations. How are you? Stay safe, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

this is a delightful installment in your children's story Sandra. I think the characters are adoreable and the actions and reactions of these characters is quaint and endearing. The language is simple and effective (as it needs to be for children) and the storyline is easily followable. The pictures are well chosen and help to get even more engaged with the episode. All in all very nicely presented.
thankyou for sharing

Excellent Cube 16 Poem. I think it's a great story for a kiss's book. The decorations are adorable. It would be scary to get inside a killer whale mouth. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much for this lovely review, Gypsy. The Cube 16 is the perfect format for children to read. Short lines with four lines make it easy to keep their attention. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one. Thank you! :)) Sandra xx

How brave these two children are. I seriously doubt that most if any adults would have what it takes to display such acts f bravery, no matter the reason or need of it. I believe that stories like this encourage children not to walk around with unreasonable fear, not even knowing what or why they fear. Wonderful story so far.

I know I wouldn't be going inside! Lol. I totally agree with you, Nomi, children should learn more about their fellow creatures on their planet. Fear, and being wary, are different emotions, and should be explained. Thank you so much, my friend. I'm delighted you are enjoying this story. The final part will be posted on Sunday! Warm hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

As I have stated earlier, reading your wonderful stories is a distinct pleasure. I am 78 years old, but I still enjoy a quality children's story. Please write on dear writer friend.

You story reads well, Sandra. I enjoyed reading it. The pictures are appropriate and fun. Your lines read smoothly with great detail. I love the description of the shark--glad he's a friend. The whale will soon be pain free. Good luck in your publishing endeavors. I know this will appeal to all children for 3 to 93.
Respectfully, Jan

I like how the story is progressing. And you added an element of surprise by having the submarine-sized shark showed up. I am glad the children learn to not be afraid of sharks as there are some needless fears about them in media.

It's a really good site to look through, and you can use whatever pictures you choose free and for commercial use. A couple of my novel book covers have a pixabay picture which I've modified. You can do whatever you want with them. Thanks so much for this lovely review, my friend. I hope your wrists and hands are improving a bit? I do admire your determination not to let it beat you. Warm hugs! :)) Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,

This is the cutest children's story... i really think it would be a hit if published, or maybe it is being considered to be a little book....

Poppy and Odi are charming little deep sea divers with their inventive little "bubble helmets". They show empathy for the poor Orca whale who has a terrible toothache :(

This sweet story is so original and teaches children about the sea, about empathy and caring as well as resourcefulness!

Have a great week, Sandra :))

Yes, I'm going to publish it as a story and colouring book. Each double page will have two stanzas and the little pictures you see here, on one side, and a full page picture on the other side for children to colour in themselves. Thank you for this lovely review, I'm so pleased you are enjoying the story. The last one is coming on Sunday! The big pull. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Again a nice poem. Short lines and lots of movement. The rhyme scheme had several near rhymes, but otherwise seems good. The general happiness of the work continues.

I have no suggestions.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm so pleased you are still enjoying this story, the last one will be posted on Sunday. The Big Pull!! Lol.
I think the 'near rhymes' you mentioned comes down to our different ways of pronounciation. Some UK English words are often spoken differently to the way people in the US do. This also happens in poetry. I often have a problem when I read an American poem where a line has an extra syllable. You would pronounce a word using 2 syllables, whilst we would say the same word with three. I've learned to ignore that now. It's just one of those quirky differences we have. But I like that, too. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
