Absolutely riveting. I raced through that installment like a house-on-fire. Your characters are realistic and your descriptions appalling in their ability to make you see things most of us don't want to see. It was a good idea too, including a bit of backup from the last chapter. Great job. Where's the next chapter?

So excited to hear you really enjoyed this chapter. I have fun with scenes like this. I guess you could say I like a bit of horror along with my lovely Breedline. I try my best to make the story as descriptive as I can so the reader can see the scenes in their mind as they read along.
The next chapter will be either on Sunday or Monday. I am going on vacation next week and want to put one in before I take off.

You just made my whole day! So thrilled you enjoyed this chapter. I wish it was made into a movie. A dream come true. This is the sixth book in my series and yes, it will be published as soon as it's completed and my editor finishes with it. The cover is going to be fun for my artist to design too.

What a brilliant thought on your behalf Shana, already you were planning the survival of Lenny and his kind, they are the goodies, so we want them to survive, but also the loving Fiona, who said, even in death, that she loved Henry Michaels. But Jena couldn't help herself, it was the curse...But what about the surviving children of Michaels? And more importantly, Fiona? I was hoping to entertain you with this spooky chapter. I definitely had fun writing it. Yes, Fiona's death was sad, but I did not have a place for her in the story. Plus, Jena had to get mad enough to kill Dr. Henry Michaels. Her curse drove her to kill the mad physician.
Later in the story, you'll find out about Lenny's companions and the rest of the Biters.

Why did you have to kill Fiona off!!?!! SHANA! (I have to say loved every bit of the description of the Biters. Man, they are vicious!!) WHat's going to happen now that Henry's dead? - I mean he did deserve it- Is Jena's blood going to cure Lenny and his kind?! Will he die??!? Thanks dear friend and I'm so sorry for Fiona's death. She did not have a fit into the rest of the story and I had to give Jena a reason to kill the mad physician. I normally don't kill off any of the 'good' characters, but it had to happen. That is one of the reasons why I did not write too much about her character or Henry's.
Things will turn up soon. And we still have to think about Carrie and Joseph. I will need a plan for them.
Remember, my stories always close with a fairy tale ending. :)
