I really like this 5-7-5, especially the open-endedness of the last line, 'the poem begins'. I feel such emotions as comfort, sweetness, hope, companionship. A great contest entry!

-Very nice image and
presentation.
-The syllable count is good,
along with the topic.
-The imagery shows the
tender beginnings of
a relationship.
-I like the concluding line, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

This poem is good but I think you have too many syllables in the second line and 3nd. Fix before the contest ends. Thank you for sharing. Hope you win. Have a good day and when you fix it I will rate you better.

I believe the count is correct. Checked on syllable counter at https://syllablecounter.net/count
I reach for her hand 5
she smiles, our fingers entwine 7
the poem begins 5
Thanks for the read.
