I like the poem it created wonderful imagery.
The only thing that I noticed was
"is life, not seen beneath the carpet of verdant forest,
Nourishment feeding the very most tips of the evergreen branches,"
I didn't know if you meant for there to be a period or for that to be nourishment

Thank you for sharing your poem about how you find a place to worship God in nature. Truly we can experience Him in all of His great creations. We also need the fellowship of other believers to worship with.

What better place to worship than where you feel God present. This is a lovely write that sings of faith. Church does not have to be a building - a forest nook can be holy. Best of luck in the contest!

Yours is a marvelous poem. There is no more spectacular cathedral than the world of nature. You have created movement all through your poem which is no small feat. Your imagery is vivid and interesting. One small thing: if this is for the free verse contest ending today, there are too many lines. I think there can be no more than eighteen so you might want to check.

Many of the times, I feel closer to God than ever is deep in the woods or watching a hummingbird drink from the Cypress vine. It's seeing God's true creation before us. What a wonderfully written poem.
