I enjoy the precision of your writing. I wish I had a six left.
Everything had gone the way he'd planned, Adler yearned to be anywhere else in the unknown universe. (I am wondering if you don't need a period after planned. I think it would work better than a comma.)

Wow. I absolutely love the way you described a murder's clean-up, lol. This is classic mystery stuff, and I love it. I like the difference of tone here in your writing compared to others who tend to have the same, especially in this genre. I'm intrigued and I want to know what happens or who dies next. Wish I had six stars.... :)
