In case we were already repulsed, this gives the reader a grody description of Adler...ewww: "Adler scratched his long black locks of stringy hair. Snow-white dandruff settled onto his shoulders." The plot thickens: "A revengeful voice inside Adler cried out, "Gotta kill him!" This is a good approach, the reader knows something the character doesn't. I'll be back another day. Great story.

This chapter gives us more incite into Adler's personality, psyche and a hint of why he became so jaded and vicious. It also creates fear for the life of John Dutton. Another well done chapter, Brett.

Adler really is a creepy character you've come up with

I find your writings especially progressing when it comes to your serial killers!
You could seriously write a book and turn it into a crazy movie you know that!
I'm trying to figure out who would star in it that would be worthy?
I know Johnny Depp's a great actor but I don't know if he has it in him?

So now Dutton is on Adler's bucket list. I imagine that will be one murder,he want pull off but it will be interesting to watch him try. You've created and interestinb but evil character in Adler. Before he got his own death sentence, he might have been like everyone else.

Your writing is faultless as always and deserving of a six that I don't have. What shocks me the most is how such a seemingly nice person can write this evil psychopath. I guess, there's more than one side to all of us. Now, that's scary. LOL. Thanks for share another fine chapter.

Being in the mind of a crazed killer is not a great place to be. Someone who enjoys dissecting his victims is not by any standards normal, and someone who actually admires Adler is not a character that I'd like either. Beautifully written Brett, excellent job, blessings Roy

You give us some insight into Adler. So far he has only negative qualities. The word choice is good. The reading flows well. The feel is consistent throughout.
Suggestions: His ruminations should have some details of the killing/torture. I would like to have the flash card display of several memorable actions.
