Wow, no sixers left, but this deserves one! Believe in the immortality of the soul, sure is a lot I do not understand but also believe many things are revealed after we leave this existence. Faith and prayer definitely have a large influence on our lives, many people just do not acknowledge that and continue to stumble through life. Been up and down, and when everything else is gone, we still have our faith to pull us through.

It's a while since I've read and reviewed any of your writing RP - a bad omission on my part. You've been pretty creative with your end rhymes here, which added to my enjoyment of the poem. There are also some thoughts expressed that resonated strongly. I particularly liked the concept of an "inner and kind deity".

For instance, you know the danger that raw electrical power can exert, so you use that power in a respectful manner. God has awesome power, unimaginable power, so you treat him in a similar respectful way.

I suppose that your words would resonate with a Unitarian faith. It doesn't seem to show faith in God but in some kind of "the inner and kind deity!" I was surprised at putting Christ along side Roosevelt and Napoleon! For Christians, there is no redemption of all mankind if Christ is a mere man.

I'm not a poet so I struggle with all the technicalities and such, but understanding the message is easy. We can not pretend to be faithful and say we walk the line as the Lord requests but actually stray away. He sees all and knows what is real and what we try to fake. We must actually willingly live his words and follow the path he has laid.

A good effort on a difficult style. The rhyme scheme struggled a bit, and I was a little lost with some of the lines- especially "God's this minion". (Possibly my fault).
