Wow, we sort of half guessed that Faith was Liz's twin. Now she must be told, and told about her mother. That will be a very emotional experience for Liz, and Faith. Does Mary know Liz is her other daughter? It's so sad that Faith is dying just when she finds her sister is living so near. Now, what is the other surprise Darryl is going to drop on them? Can't wait to find out. I hope it's that he's discovered Cyn (sin) is a lying toe-rag and needs to be put down!! :)) I really enjoyed this part, well done, Carol. Another humongous success. Warm hugs, and love. Sandra xxxx

Mary hasn't met Liz yet, but soon. I think at first glance she will see enough of Faith in her and know. Haven't decided yet how to handle it. A lot of info and trouble flying around right now. Another chapter or two and you will be yelling at me again...LOL

Thanks for the stars and the kind review as always. Working on the next chapter but I don't know how to add more narrative (which I am told I need) when it's three men sitting around a table talking. Ugh!

smiles and lots of love, Carol

If you ask any proffessional writer what you need most in novels, it's dialogue. You can describe more of your surrounding just by adding it into the converstation, and their thoughts, plus, it's a lot more natural. Trust me!

Yay! I love it when revelations start happening and the characters finally start getting the bigger picture! I think the plot is really taking shape and hopefully, Faith will stay alive long enough to meet her twin sister! But will the wine help to let them know about Cynthia?

I am happy that things are starting to fall into place as well. Emmy is on her way and she should discover things too.

Yes, I thought they were twins! But it seems now that Daryl is a good guy, after all. Hank and Garth are going to have problems trying to solve everything that is happening. Cynthia and Michael may have links with Mason Caldwell. Very complex, intriguing and very well written.

Thank you for your kindness and the review. There are a lot of knots for Garth and Hank to unravel... Emmy's on her way to help though.

Begin Again
I don't know how write and kept track so well --
Yes I read the flowing from your excellent summary----
Cassidy is framed for murder. Allie goes undercover to protect Cassidy, but they are both stabbed. Cassidy's life is threatened again in the hospital, and she is pronounced dead (but actually in protective custody). Mason Caldwell runs many illegal businesses, including drugs and human trafficking. Jon, a priest and Cassidy's brother, has sold his soul. Mary, a caregiver, discovers her child she gave up for adoption thirty years ago. Cynthia and Michael are searching for gold on Liz's property. The mysterious woman (Faith) is dying from cancer and lives in a secret cottage with her daughter.

Brilliant. Stunning plot twist--Faith and Liz twin sisters--with Mary as their mother. So Darryl has a dark past--will we learn the details or are they not relevant to the story? I shudder to contemplate that Cynthia and Michael will plot to kill Annie. Great chapter!

thanks, Liz. the details were in Emmy's fax in Chap 13...but it's only juvenile drugs which he went to jail for and Cynthia's secret accusations (unfounded).

Question: Do you think I use too much dialogue? Should I do more narrative talking instead? Just trying to get a feel on how the readers like the style or not.

Great dialog! Keep it up. Always best to let your characters do the talking--bonus: grammatical mistakes are theirs!

Well at least we know Daryl is a good guy, but oh what a tangled web you've woven, Carol. Good for you! It's very well written. Wish I had more sixes for you.

I like the dialogue. We?re always told to show, more than tell and I find dialogue the best way to do that, if possible. I use a lot of dialogue and no one has ha negative comments about it.

Well this adds a new wrinkle and it seems that Daryl is good guy after all.
Hank is pretty high strung. I had forgotten he had a heart problem. I assume he is going to tell Hank about Cynthia's visit.

"Hank was eager to discover why Darry had called." Daryl

Oh my goodness, Liz has a twin sister? So that's what the DNA was all about. Well, they should break two or three of those bottles. This was a great chapter, my dear. Lots of surprises.

Yes, she does.... adopted and never told there was a twin. should be quite a surprise for both of them...and Mary finding them as well.

I'm wondering about Jon though. Mary thinks he was killed in a car accident...Hmmm!

OK, my thinking was wrong about Darryl, unless you have more surprises in store for us readers. Great chapter! I'm enjoying this story immensely. Blessings. Carol

Hi Carol... No Darryl is a good guy...though some thought otherwise because of past mistakes. Jack had faith in him and it worked. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Wow, you are throwing some verbal hand grenades here Carol, was this connection something you hit on as you were writing, or was it intended from the beginning? It is an excellent addition to the narrative my friend, beautifully done, how are you feeling ok? Well done, blessings Roy

Hi Roy... Generally I have a skeleton outline before I write and I keep referring back to it... sometimes new ideas or changes in plan pop up and the outline gets changed. I know who I want to end up good and who will remain bad. something is going to happen in a few chapters that I didn't plan as I started the story, but it seems perfect now...I hope!

thanks for the review. Smiles, Carol
