Excellent entry for the 5-7-5 Poem contest.

Good syllables count and presentation.

For such short poem I always advice to connect the lines grammatically to improve the flow... So it doesn't sound like a list of phrases. Also keep punctuation to a minimum.

I don't suggest you substitute your poem for this one, this is an example of what I mean by connecting lines...

satiated thirst
with elixir from my glass -
wine and roses days

Your contest entry is in good form with the syllable count. The image is a good pairing, too. Your words are descriptive about a man and a women in the throes of passion. It sounds as if it wasn't a lasting relationship, but she looks back and remembers it fondly.

The essence of romance is beautifully put in a few words. Rose and wine pairs well with just about everything. Love is like red wine. Or it can be like a white wine. It may fall somewhere in between also. I liked your short poem. Good luck!
