Me too, but only to a small degree. What I like best, as a matter of fact, what I love. The sound of raindrops beating upon the roof. It has the effect of a sleeping pill or a soft sonata, puts me to sleep within a few minutes each and every time.

You have given us something different - a reverence for rain...Your artwork is wonderful...as s fellow rain lover I could look at it all day. You have set up a fine form that gives your words oomph and delight...I love this.

What a delightful simile you have here, Linda. The images are very strong and creative. I have often thought Mother Nature was an amazing artist who paints our world, both earth and sky, with unimaginable beauty and in impossible colors, but I never thought of her as a musician before. I love the thought. It is truly stirring to listen to the sound of rain and wind in the trees. I enjoyed your poem very much. I enjoyed your notes as well. You may want to correct a typo there... you could here (hear) the wind gusts playing... Lovely thoughts and a nice way to see beauty in storms. MM

-Nice artwork and
presentation, Linda.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-Sorry you had a bad storm;
they seem to be cropping up.
-You wrote a good poem
about it with effective imagery
that paints a good word
picture of the storm.
-A good comparison to the
symphony with Mother Nature
as the conductor.
-Well done.

Thank You sweet girl for a wonderful review...I love the sound of thunder and rain...love you...Linda xxoo

You are very welcome, Linda. I don't mind rain, but I don't like thunder and lightning, especially booming ones that shake the house!
-
I don't like the house shaker either...just a steady rain and thunder...love xxoo

Linda,
What a good metaphor for the sounds of a storm. Mother Nature as a muscial conductor.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
I like the video you used for the poem.

I love it, too, and for the same reasons. This summer has been especially fierce, toppling our swing. The creatures burrow down and so do we. You have such vivid imagery and lively art in this one, Linda dear.
Sending you my best today, and love and blessings always,

Hi Sally, when my granddaughter was a baby...I would play a cd called...Rain and Thunder...it would put her to sleep...and me too...and the dog...he was never scared of real storms...he slept through them...on the 4th of July the fireworks never bothered he either...most likely because he would hear thunder and lighting all night long...LOL...
I love the sound of rain sweet girl...and the way it makes the air smell so clean...
Thank You for a wonderful review my sweet friend...I pray you are doing well...God Bless...love you...Linda xxoo

I liked your poem about the storm. I love storms, if they are not causing so much damage to house and home. I hear about Tornado Alley, yet people go back and re build? Wind whistling through the trees, branches whipping, rain pelting against glass. Must have been a corker storm. Long as you are OK. Well done my friend.

Hi Beautiful you, so good to see you..I hope you and Benny are doing well...
it was a pretty good storm...people had a lot of clean up to do...and still are...I love thunder storms...as long as they don't do any damage...I love the sound of them...and I love the smell of them...clean air....
I used to play a cd called...Rain and Thunder...for my granddaughter when she was a baby...it would put her to sleep...and me too...and the dog...he was never afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks...slept right through them...
where I lived in Plainfield...is where they called it Tornado Ally...they had a history making tornado go through there...miles and miles of damage...everywhere it hit...it cleared a path...I came after it had already touchdown...
Thank you my sweet friend for a wonderful review you...and alllll your so lovely stars...
my neighbor who's pets I was watching...two rats...two cats...a dog and an African white frog...just got home after being gone 6 days...so I'm off to the showers to melt down...I don't make it a habit to get up at 6 am in the morning...that was to let the dog out...so it will feel good to sleep in...
unless they come to work on the house...sigh...love you girl...Linda xxoo

What sort of work are they doing on the house? Benny looks good, put some weight back on. Took him for a walk this morning, he is learning to walk with my electric chair. Weather is warming up here as we go into spring, yours must be cooling down? Love, Kace and Benny

Beautifully penned! The true star orchestra of our planet is the mountains, oceans, and forests that make up the great outdoors. We should listen to them instead of sitting glued indoors. Thanks for sharing!

I like the comparison of the gusty wind and rain on the windows sounding like a concert symphony, Mother Nature as the conductor. Well told, and I love the video. Nicely done.
