Linda,
Outstanding presentation, my friend.
This is such a beautifully penned poem.
I recalled about three years ago; I had the pleasure of attending a concert at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The theme that evening was Nature and Music; the concert was awesome, and I can remember being so relaxed and at peace as I enjoyed the music.
So, when I read your beautiful poem, it reminded me of that peace.
We have had storms for the last few days; I always sleep through them.
Thanks for sharing a most enjoyable read.
Lots of love and hugs...Portia

Hi Portia, I have always loved the sound of rain and thunder...
when my Granddaughter was a baby I would play a cd of Rain and Thunder...it helped her go to sleep...and me too...and the dog...who never was afraid of thunderstorms...or fireworks...
there's just something calming about the sounds of the rain...
I wish I had been at that concert with you my sweet friend...sounds amazing...
Thank You for a wonderful review...love you...Linda xxoo

What a beautiful way to look at storms and maybe life as well.
We have had many powerful storms here lately. But with the next one, I will try to think of that symphony that you hear.
A lovely way to think about storms.
Blessings

I agree. The sounds of a storm only mother Nature can make. I like the personification of nature. Your image is perfect. As long as one is safe inside, then s/he can enjoy the sounds for free.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Count me in! I, too, love a wild and wooly storm... The whistling wind, the rat-a-tat of rain, the reverberations on my window when thunder roats and lightning cracks. It is a wild concert!

The composer of nature music is mother nature. Interesting metaphor to the poem. I like the simplicity of your poetry. Excellent work! No mistakes. Thank you for sharing!

Hello L. Raven,
You have beautifully depicted the Music played by Mother Nature. A Live description!
Lucid as well as perfectly matching the theme phraseology.
Enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end.
It reminds me of great English Romantic Poet "Shelley."
Picture enhances depth and beauty of the poem.
SUPERB Indeed!

It's fascinating that you find rain and wind so musical. I loved the poem and thought you captured the storm event well. And the artwork was beautiful and appropriate.

Your concise, descriptive poem is very expressive, conveying an enjoyment of the sound and fee, the effects, of the wind. I too am a wind lover, as long as there's no destruction.

Linda,
How nice! You have a vivid imagination - but it's very correct actually. We know the Master's hand is at work when all that stuff is going on, so why not think of Him conducting things like a play or orchestra? Sounds perfect. So smart!
Thanks, sister!
