Hello Ulla. No, I don't mind answering your question at all. I had three previous lower back surgeries back in 2004 and, 2006 that didn't go well so, I have had chronic pain ever since. Also, in 2011, I had my left knee replaced and, it hyperextends whenever I try to walk. My right knee is bone-on-bone, with a bone spur so, I need surgery in the future on that knee, as well. All these things together add up to me being in a wheelchair since my neck broke in 2020 and I had major surgery to fix it. I haven't walked since then but, have every intention of walking again. My physical therapist helped me yesterday to walk down the hallway with the aid of a walker, so I am thrilled at the prospect of walking again soon! Thank you for asking and I hope this answers your question.

If you do not set goals, chances are pretty good that you will not accomplish much of anything. You serve as a prime example of someone who not only sets achievable goals, but you get busy with the work that will make it happen. I salute you.

I can feel the energy inside me! I will keep everyone on Fan Story posted on my progress as I work on walking again! Thank you, Dolly, for your caring and positive review. My quality of life is everything to me. This is how I make my life decisions...whether it enhances or detracts from my quality of life. My surgeon is the greatest! She is contented to work and live locally, which I wish more doctors and other professionals would do.
I live in a small town near rural areas on most sides of me. I live near the coast, so the fires that have ravaged Northern California haven't come this far West.
I will keep all of Fan Story posted as my progress happens and, I will definitely post when I walk again!
