You have told a tale that needs to be told. It is awful what these people went through. Ancient magic can be powerful. Excellent writing that gives the Aborigines a voice.

You did a great job with the length restraints of this contest, Aussie. Your story told is a sad commentary on the white man's privilege. It is an interesting look into the history of the aborigine way of life. Your picture is a great pairing.
Best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan

Hi Jan, Thanks so much for reading. Our people were treated like slaves, the whites took what they wanted and chained our men.
Oldest inhabited country in the world (54, 000 yrs.) Based this on a documented happening. Love, Kay xx

Dorothy, How are you now?I hope you are recovering well? I based this on a true story - documented in the newspaper back in the 1800's. Thanks for reading my friend. Love, Kay.

Hi Kay, A very well written story, sharing a part of the past that many of us are ashamed of. A powerful and moving piece. I'm sorry I don't have six stars left. I hope your story does well in the contest. Best wishes for it.
How is your new dog Benny?

He was a wicked person, but he did deserve it. I believe that God judged him. Love and hugs. Are you in lockdown too? Our situation is going from bad to worse here.

Hi Wendy, No, we have never been in lockdown. So lucky. Our Premier is strict, parts of the country like Armidale are hot spots. My opinion is: too many foreigners, confusion from the media and letting people in to our country. Hope you are OK?

I'm afraid these things happened, I'm not sure about pointing, I know that there were aboriginals reputed to have succumbed to sheer superstitious fear. But a good tale Kay, well done, blessings Roy
