I agree with you Janet Foor your rant is very good I know of many others who don't want to get the shot and not wearing a mask

Hi Janet, Your poem definitely depicts the appeal of people stubbornness unknowingly results in very harmful things. I read about the people around you and how they are just stubborn unnecessarily to not getting vaccine. Hope they change their mind soon. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.

Great post which cloaks it's true intent until your description at the end. I kind of thought this might be what you were indicating, but I was not sure. You made it applicable to make different settings, which is hard to do. I enjoyed this piece, thank you for sharing!

I enjoyed reading your poem. I and my husband are fully vaccinated. BUT, that being said, I believe it's up to the individual person and not the government's job to tell us to get vaccinated. Also please remember these shots are not fully approved by the FDA.

I agree that the government shouldn?t tell us to get vaccinated and the FDA has only approved it for emergency measures and now for a third shot for those at high risk. It?s definitely a sticky wicket.

We need to get every one vaccinated and wear masks until doctors and scientists tell us is safe, not Fox news and crazy Marjorie Taylor Green who said if someone comes home to offer the vaccine they should be shot AND Anthony fauci created covid. Now we must protect our children. They, and everyone in the school, should wear masks until is safe. Okay... It's infuriating. Well done my friend!

They got people to put on their seat belt with the slogan ?Click it or Ticket?
The other day I saw a bumper sticker that said ?Mask it or Casket.?
Maybe that will work. 😷

I can understand your frustration. Vaccine hesitancy is there in India but mainly in the poorer people. But the cynics have a reason .I got covid after my second shot! but no hospitalisation .It was more like a fever.

Here in the UK, a son/brother came on the news to tell us the sad story of how his mother, father and brother died last week all of Covid, and all because they refused to have the vaccination. They must preferred to believe social media and the hype that it was the injections that were killing them. He is devastated and obviously he has had his now. Why can't people see what is going on around them? Are they that stupid they'd rather die than have the vaccination? Your poem says it all very nicely, Janet. Let's hope these non-believers will change their minds before they are struck down. Well done, this was a wonderful poem that will hopefully get more people injected. :)) Sandra xx

I really don?t understand it either.
All our family is vaccinated except one young 24 year old holdout. I guess he buys into the social media hype. Hopefully not to his detriment.

I too am astonished by the stupidity of some. I think your right, soon we will need proof of vaccination to do many things we take for granted.
