A look at yourself, an inward view, so often more revealing than the casual glance while washing, combing, shaving.
Often the enemy is us, countered by the person we pretend to be, avoiding that direct look into the :"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall..."
Every day there is a different person smiling back at us, "Who are you today?"
And who is that person deceiving?
"Are you the Deceiver?"
(Smile) "No, I am your comforter."
"What words do you have for me?"
(Smile) "Let's go have some fun!"
"But what about the...?"
(Smile) "That will all take care of itself. Don't worry."
"Get thee behind me, Satan!"
(Frown)"Well, if you're going to be like that!"
(New Image) "Who are you?"
(Stern face)"It's me, dummy!"
(You Smile) "OK, I recognize you now!"

Dear Irish, if I took all of your reviews they would weave the fabric of life. You are uncanny ability to reveal to me what I'm really writing about never fails to amaze me. I remember one time when I was a teenager you told me go look in the mirror for 10 minutes no, 20 minutes no 30, minutes and as each increment got higher, I got more nervous cuz I was kind of a phony. You helped to reveal me to myself in ways that only God could orchestrate therefore I know your connection to God is real and that you are headed for the pearly Gates. I wonder if I'll know you after I pass away? Do you think I will? That remains to be seen. As you know I have strong ties and believe in all the religions but yet I believe more in spirituality. I believe in the Eastern religions to a certain extent and have ties to the Catholic Mormon seventh-day Adventist etc so it is my prayer that as you reveal myself to me then I will be receptive of what you are really trying to communicate.

Hi Darren! Thanks for your words of wisdom. Yes, friends will always "bend" and adapt with us to encourage and be like us. But enemies force some retrospection and challenge us to grow in character by showing grace.
