This is another great chapter. I do not seen any room for improvement. I look forward to the next chapter. Have a blessed day. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.

Twins? All signs point to that! (was it St. Frances Covenant....or convent?)

Sophia. A big part of the story if she's living a life of luxury!

Whatever will be found in the Cranston papers?

Still anticipating your magic, getting Cassidy out of prison!

A well written transitional chapter!

Well, it seems Allie and Cassidy have survived that terrible attack. The conversation Liz and Hank are having hints at some mysterious coincidence that she alludes to. The fact that her birthday is on the same day as Faith's and that they were both adopted, may become less of a mystery as the story unfolds.

Good detective work, Ralf. Made me thing of Bob... Hope you are doing okay and his family too. I always keep wondering what he would be saying about how the story is progressing.

You must be reading my mind. I miss is reviews and everything I write has me thinking, what would Bob say about this. He was such a presence. Carol, are you going to add a chapter to the book "Memories of Mastery?" I hope so.

Oh my, I guess I thought I had already done something... between Karenina and Bob.... I know I was worried because I don;t write my thoughts in poems... but a story of some kind would be good. I will take a look at his book and see how everyone else is doing it

Another great chapter, as Liz comes to terms with her husband Jack's unfinished business, and the personal information he felt would be best kept quiet. There's a lot more to Sonia Sanchez than is apparent, but I guess that will come out later.
I didn't find any errors.

I am slowly getting the hang of the story. The characters are not so confusing now. The story flows so well. I like the many phrases you use in the dialogues. Thank yo for sharing. There is an element of mystery I reckon!

Here's a quick shot of what's been happening....

There are a lot of plots within the story... Mary(RN) was pregnant and living on the streets. She was told her boyfriend Jon was killed in an accident, and the family moved to Italy. He was very much alive and forced to become a priest. He is a weak person and has succumbed to some evil people. Cassidy is his sister and worked for Mason (the evil guy in town). She was accused of murder falsely, and then they attempted to kill her in prison to shut her up.

Liz's husband died in a suspicious plane crash. Hank (a retired detective turned PI) was her husband's best friend.

Garth is an undercover FBI agent working on a drug case. (This is my third sequel with Hank and Garth)

Cynthia is a neighbor. Michael is her nephew. They have found a map and letter indicating gold on Liz's property.

Mason owns a casino, but is involved in smuggling, drugs, and so much more, including murder.

Allie is Liz's best friend and went undercover in prison to watch over Cassidy. They both got stabbed and hospitalized.

There's a quick shot of the last 19 chapters to catch you up just a little. LOL

Hope that helps you out!! Smiles, Carol

This another excellent chapter, Carol. It's nice to have these quiet, catching-up pieces to break the tension. Well done.

One spag: "Liz shooked(shook) her head and then continued"

An interesting relationship between Faith and Liz! There's more to that, I'm guessing. This is a calmer chapter -- I feel like I had a chance to catch my breath. LOL! Another good write. Looking forward to the next segment. Hugs!

Thanks Carol... Faith and Liz haven't met yet and Faith doesn't even know she exists so it should be interesting. This was a breather chapter. LOL

They are twins!!!! What a shock that will be when they both find out! (I'm guessing all this, but your clues did rather tell me that, lol) Obviously the Cranstons only adopted Faith because Liz was a sickly child and they thought she might not make it. Have I got it right? I loved this part, and now I want to find out the truth. Well done, my clever authoress! Lots of love and hugs. :)) Sandra

Wait - so if Faith and Liz had the same birthday, couldn't they possibly be twin sisters? I guess that's the hint you're giving us. And then you keep hinting at a conversation with Darryl. He was wanting to talk with Liz when they were hurrying to the hospital and he talked with her just as she returned. But I bet it's something important that you're leaving us to learn about later...
