I enjoyed the way you built up the suspense preceding the contest and the attention Katherine gives to every detail.

when I finished reading this chapter, I was wondering what in the world was in the letter to make Katherine tears streamed down her cheeks as she held up the letter she revived from a well dressed man in a gray suit handing her envelope, said, "You have been served".

Katherine's in laws will not prevail. The best laid plans of evil men and women will look good to them at first, but the reality of God's goodness will win out in the end. You cannot steal a woman's children whose children will fight against it time and time again. Those boys love their mother enough that they will fight tooth and nail to prevent being stolen by people they already know do not love them and only want the money they can generate.
