It takes faith to approach God in the first place. In order to be heard, we must first believe that he actually exists. After that we must be convinced that based on the history of all the times he has delivered men from their troubles, having the fait that he will hear and answer our prayers should be easy.

The poem was good these shorter ones I have a hard time with as a reader and a writer. Trying to build up and create emotions and messages in such a small structure is difficult. That being said I don't read much religious poetry so the message isn't as strong with me as it would be with others.
