Poems and stories dealing with faith are my favorites and my go to reading when I need a lift. This poem provided that for me on an afternoon when I am feeling the need for strength. Thank you.

When we have faith we feel God's strength and it spreads to confidence in ourselves. It isn't difficult to follow the commands of an all-giving God and it alleviates fear. This is a succinct and meaningful sentiment attached to a beautiful portrayal.

Hi RP, my pastor has said...anyone can say they
believe my special friend...but if they're not living the words...there just words...

you have to have a true faith in Him...a true belief...
and yes...in yourself...if you can't believe in yourself...how can you believe in the one who created you???...and that faith is what will take you to the top...Heaven...

I love your poem sweet guy....and I love the meaning...
having Faith in God...and in yourself is the best way...
to be welcomed home...your picture reminds me of my father...he loved to fish...everyday...all day...and I know he rolled all the way to Heaven...stunning picture...

It's our faith that keeps us going when we feel no one is there. We may feel that way but if you truly have faith you know that the Lord is there with you all the way. A nice poem to share with us. Nice job!

Interesting syllable count requirement! You managed to make it work for you, maintaining the flow and completing a cohesive thought. I might have gone with only "FAITH" in all caps...

A timely poem in regard to the imagery of the laurels of the present Olympics. But it is about life itself, and the prize of God's approval, which in the end is all that matters. Well written four line poem which meets all requirements for syllables. Best wishes for your entry.
