This is well-written! I could definitely see this as part of an acing secondary school or university research paper. It's clear yu did extensive research without beating that fact over the reader's head or trying to use too flowery of language. You also express your opinions to the facts presented without being too preachy or excessive opining.

Joshua, thank you for your kind review, and comments. I am hoping to finish this project, but the research is taking me deeper and deeper into the 19th century. I am looking forward to returning soon.

This is a very good commentary on Abraham Lincoln. I've always admired the man and looking at his pictures, you can almost see what a kind and gentle soul he was. I find many of his quotes to contain wisdom that is seldom found in the general public and I admire the man greatly.

Janilou, thank you for your kind review, and comments. I hope to finish this project, now that I have started it, but I am being pulled away for a time. Partly due to research, and partly due to feeling like time is running out to get another project completed that I started back in the 80's. Now I am 68 years old, retired, and still, I am feeling rushed. Life is a strange thing. Bless you my friend, take care.
