I enjoyed reading this poem. It looks like it would be hard to do but you have done it well. As to a mixture of truth and lies, I do believe that is a stew created by Satan. He is a master of mixing the two. All lies might not be tempting enough to entice us, but by mixing just enough trruth in with them, we are more easily beguiled.

You hooked me in with the description of a pantswap at the top of the poem! It is a very difficult format that you created - but it works well with the subject matter. When we have questions and doubts in our hearts and minds, it can be a roller coaster ride of emotions. The repeated lines reflected these emotions. Well done!

I love everything you put in your poems to teach us what is the way of our Lord and the path of destruction, but teaching us how to write this poem...I will pass.

I did love the idea of reminding us that the fine soup we prepare can easily be turned into mushy, sour stew if we allow it to be tainted by the wrong spices. Following temptation does not mix well with the words of the Lord.

Or at least that's what I think you were telling me.

This is a hard style to work with! What a challenge you set yourself. It takes a few readings to understand, but I think you are asking God for guidance so that you don't mix together truth and lies as in a stew, and hence have regrets later, by being deceived and going astray. On the right track?
