No greater gift than Emily to make me sit up and grin! I fell in love with poetry at age eleven after first reading her "I'm Nobody."
This touches my heart and I thank you sincerely for this kindness.

Hello Karenina.
I hope you are gradually improving on your road to recovery. I know it can be a daunting journey, but friends, family and poets can smooth the path.
Isn't it ironic that the writer of "I'm Nobody" is remembered a century and a half as one of the finest poets of all time.
"When Winds take Forests in their Paws -
the Universe - is still -"
Best wishes, my friend.

Hi Robert...
It's ironic she was rejected for all but a handful of poems in her lifetime. If not for her sister Lavinia, who persisted after Emily's death, she might well have remained "a nobody" in the world of poetry!
What a loss for all of us that would have been!
Progress is slow...we are discussing other treatment options.
Until then, I get on when I can and Jess, my wonderful daughter is typing my responses for me.
Appreciate you!

In my opinion, this is outstanding (so I shouldn't have to write any more, right?). I think it will appeal especially to Karenina as I know she loves Emily, and I find it interesting that three of us (and maybe more to come) have swayed in that direction.

Hello Katherine,
Thank you for the wonderful review and rating of my poem for Karenina.
We both share a love of Emily's poetry, so I thought it might add a little light to her recovery. I visited the Dickinson homestead many years ago
and she lives just a short distance away.
We seem to think alike.
Best wishes to all.
Robert

Robert,
Is there ever a time when you write a BOMB? Please tell me yes. I know I've never witnessed a moment like that - but it would give a lot of other writers hope... hahahaha
This is awesome. Hugs and kisses-

Hello Robyn. Thank you for the wonderful, amusing review for my poem for Karenina. I'm glad you enjoyed the nod to Emily Dickinson?s poetry.
I prefer Bomb as a noun, as in, "He's da BOMB."
If I do write a BOMB, I take it out to a vacant field and bury it before it explodes and injures someone. (most likely me!)
Thanks for the awesome review, my friend.
Best wishes to all.

What a fun poem for Karenina, Robert, I know she will most likely laugh at this one. Karenina is a very strong willed lady, and will bounce back from this awful accident, with fingers flying over the keyboard. Yes, she is feisty, and I know you are, too. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

A lovely poem for Karenina, especially as she enjoys so much the work of Emily Dickenson. She will be delighted to read your work. Yes, dreary to never attempt the magnificent. Well done.

I enjoyed your fun poem to cheer, Karenina. I believe she will adore it. You did a great job with your take on the original, and Karenina's favorite poet is EDickinson. I like the way you asked the question and gave you answer. I like the reference to the Alps and to the chasms. One must live their life striving to be all they can be from top to bottom--from life's ups and downs.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello Jan.Thank you for the marvelous review for my poem for Karenina. I'm glad you enjoyed the nod to Emily Dickinson?s poetry. The Alps may be a bit far away, but the Berkshire Mountains are a short drive away.
I pleased you saw the reference to life's ups and downs.
I hope her feisty spirit will help her healing.
Best wishes.

Hah! Robert!
How did you know I've been called "feisty" once or twice in my lifetime?
And I imagine Karenina has, too!
We both so appreciate the poetry of Emily Dickinson. (In fact, I thought all of our poetic tributes to Karenina were to be in the vein of Dickinson. I must read directions more closely!) :)
Your tribute is delightful!
I have visited Miss Emily's Homestead... Wonderful memory...
I know Karenina is smiling as she heals!
Thank you for sharing!
