I can picture you turning the pages of your album. Memories do take us back to other times and this time was joyous, at first, but now like the wilted rose, it has lost its scent.
How many times we can look back and wonder about our relationships and how they dissolved into the past.
This poem is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. You definitely got the emotions reeling.

I can picture you turning the pages of your album. Memories do take us back to other times and this time was joyous, at first, but now like the wilted rose, it has lost its scent.

The speaker may have moved to the next stages of grieving called bargaining to denial. This is a poignant account. Many readers will identify. Some may have recognized the stages in themselves. This may be a healing experience reading this.
