Argh! How very "Carol" of you to leave us with this cliffhanger! There's so many irons in this fire now I think I ought to be wearing an asbestos suit while reading it! Cynthia is the devil's witch, incarnate. Jon is hateful and shallow and desperate... Allie (thank goodness) has back up within the prison to watch her back. I am having a nervous breakdown! --Karenina

i have been inside a state prison once as a visitor and the minute they locked the bars behind me, I thought I would faint. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

You're braver than me! I was once offered a job as a prison Nurse. Not gonna happen! (I am such a chicken!)--LOL, Karenina

I have been off fanstory for a while but I wanted to get the whole story. This is a great installment. I do not see any room for improvement. I look forward to the next installment.

I hope all is okay and you haven't been gone for illness or anything bad. I noticed I hadn't seen you, but I am glad that you are back. I am thrilled that you are interested enough in the story to continue following from where you left off. Don't worry about writing me a book for a review. I just appreciate that you are reading.

There's a lot of action in this chapter. Jon, crooked as he is, tries to warn his sister that she's in danger from Mason. I guess Emmy is Hank's wife? And who is Katherine? I hope she's not Jeremy/Garth isn't married to her. Maybe she's another agent.

Some suggestions:

Cynthia and Michael are still nosing around. They want the property. And what just rolled out of the fax machine?

Jon is well over his head in trouble and has no idea how to get out... I fear so many will suffer because of him if he doesn't figure it out. Sending his sister to jail to save his own skin... Not good.

Thanks again...so sorry I am late.

You're very welcome, Carol. Yes, Jon is certainly in over his head. I'm about four chapters ahead, and I'm seeing that more and more. He's gone far astray, but I also find him a tragic figure. You have a great imagination! God bless you, my friend.

Carol,

Maybe I'm getting caught up? Whew. TRying to read this through - while giving meds and tending to sick little ones and trying to get anything else done in the house at all. What a day!

Interesting plot and I'm loving that you keep coming back to our same characters. Thanks!

Oh no...You have sick grandchildren. Hope it's not anything too serious. My life is turning and twisting every which way as well. Hang in there. Smiles, Carol

This is another great chapter of intrigue, Carol. You've displayed the emotions of many people and revealed a little more about the relationship between Jon and Mason, much to Cassidy's dismay. Well done. Keep them coming.

Jon is definitely in over his head and I doubt he'll find his way out...hopefully, Cassidy won't suffer because of him... she is a protector though... regardless how it hurts her.

You've left a couple of questions at the end of this post. What is the delivery about? Why is Cynthia and Micheal there? And what was so interesting about the FAX? I can't wait to find out. Did the delivery have anything to do with the information Jon told Cassidy about?

She stood ten feet away, swaying side to side, praying he legs would support her. (HER legs??)

Sometimes I struggle to figure out how such a sweet and caring woman can create such devious characters as those in your stories. So, I'm guessing you must have known a few. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

    Hello, my sunshine man....

I chuckled the minute I started to read. Yes, I've known a few of those devious characters and they've left lasting impressions on this lady. I thank you for the kind compliments and for the review. smiles and hugs, Carol

OMG, Carol, you do tend to leave me in a state of nervous tension! That Cynthia is up to something, and I hope Liz soon sees through her false friendship. And what is that delivery truck bringing? I'm hoping Hank and Garth will soon discover what Liz is sitting on, all that gold. This is what everyone is after. I was glad to read that there are more undercover agents in the prison watching over Allie, she and Cassidy will need them. Another wonderful chapter, my friend. NEXT!! Lol, Love and hugs! :)) Sandra xxx
