I belong to the Hindu faith that is practised in India. In Hinduism, we too have the Holy Trinty, called the Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the protector) and the Maheshwara ( the destroyer).I appreciate this short rhyme, smoothly rendered, and very spiritual. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Seshardi, I have read many much about your Origins of Faith and bow in reverence to all of your great Avatars who proscribed great Truths that continue to be passed down through all the ages both in eastern and western spiritual journeys of seekers of wisdom.

Hi JLR,

Congratulations! This is truly inspired. I can see why the excellent 2 line prayer won the contest!

"Abba, Patri, Spiritus; I bow before the Trinity ...
absolve, purify, sanctify my soul; for all eternity."

Really well thought out with a strong message conveyed. A divine photo to enhance :-)

Always,
Senyai

Thank you for your validation, a rare win but one that I will treasure as it becomes a personal mediation prayer.

I don't know what the first sentence means or what the significance of the words are...but the second line is very clear. We all seek what is asked for in that line. Thank you for sharing. :)

    Thank you,
In the New Testament- Abba means Father,
Patri, meaning Father, a loan word from the Greek and Latin,
Spiritus, Latin term for breath often used as in spirit. Hope that adds value..

In my opinion, I appreciate this short rhyme, smoothly rendered, given the difficult scenario - fully compliant with the prompt. Best wishes in the contest...

Lots of descriptive words of how to pray; I have to perhaps look up the meaning: Abba (God as Father), Patri (Father), Spiritus (breath or spirit);
absolve (set or free someone from blame), purify (make clean), sanctify (declare holy).

This is a beautiful prayer. I'm glad that God was able to move you to write such a wonderful piece of poetry with only two lines to use. The last parts of this poem where you ask for purification from your inequities was very powerful . Well done.

Justin, man?s free will? does provide us with choices, sometimes we must be absolved from those choices and to be purified is why he sided on the cross for everyone to seek redemption.

I love the first line where you use the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost, that was a lovely line. And the second one follows on perfectly, asking to be absolved from sin for all eternity. This is an excellent contest entry. Very well done, and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

This is an excellent entry for the Two Line Prayer poem. I think it should do well in the contest and I wish you luck. Your illustration matches perfectly with your words.
